Virtual Parliament School Incursion

Virtual Parliament Process

Bring the experience of Federal Parliament to your classroom in a live and interactive virtual incursion!

Students examine the democratic process in Australia. They learn the roles of the three levels of government and how the law-making process functions.

Students engage in an interactive federal election role play in which they learn about preferential voting and absolute majorities.

Following on from the virtual incursion, Linked Incursions provides you with the necessary tools to run a successful House of Representatives debate in your own classroom.

Suitable for Year 5 and Year 6. View curriculum links here.

We recommend students in Year 3 and Year 4 participate in our Virtual Democracy, Community and Me incursion.
